Cade and his reading reminds me of one of my cousins, John Sherwood Walker. When he was four years old his mother took him with her to some kind of a woman's meeting. She was concerned about his starting to school because at age four he was so p-r-e-c-o-c-i-o-u-s and she spelled it out. In a little while he came to her and asked, \”Mother what does precocious mean?\”
