I got all these from Mr. Pres n in one day. Pretty typical.
“How do they make chocolate chips?”
“Did they have birthdays when Jesus was born?”
“Why are the Mr. Yuck stickers green?”
And a funny one from Go Go as he ran to me with the toothpaste tube he couldn’t open. With a worried expression he asked, “Mom, am I getting cavities right now?”

Here are some funny snippits of conversation I’ve heard from our boys this week. They have been dressing up as indians in preparation for our Thanksgiving feast. As they’ve been running around the house I’ve heard things like, “No, no, ‘Go Go’, we fight the French.” (Mr. Pres said this when Go Go tried to fight a pilgrim) Or, “No, ‘Go, Go’, we’re not afraid of the pilgrims now-we helped them LAST YEAR, remember? (referring to the fact that by the time they had their feast, the Indians and pilgrims were friends). Or, “Mom, what number Thanksgiving is it?” We determined that it has been 387 years since the first Thanksgiving. And best of all, from Go Go after Thanksgiving dinner, “I’m sooo stuffed! And now it’s time for PIE!!!” Now here are some fun photos of our Turkey Day. Hope you all had a good one too!

We’ve been learning about Thanksgiving this week and when Rock n Roll came home and asked Mr. President what happened on the first Thanksgiving, he said in his typical patronizing tone, “Dad, there’s a book about it.”
