At the end of my last post I said this blog would continue as normal after our winter plagues had finally ended. But that was not to be. Our bad health year has continued! On April 18th, I was supposed to have a small routine laparoscopy to remove a benign cyst. At age 26, the same surgery only took me a day or two to recover from and that was with a toddler and newborn! But this one was NOT the same. They found two very large cysts instead of just one and the recovery was almost as bad as having a hysterectomy! The end of April and much of May was a total blur for me and no blogging took place. End of May craziness hit and summer has been non stop until now so here is yet another catch up blog post. (several, actually. 🙂
May Madness
Liberty had her end of year dance finale.
And the performance itself:
Liberty says she wants to try gymnastics next year, but this girl still dances wherever she goes, always on her toes, and her hands are permanently in dance pose! (I really didn’t try to make that rhyme-it just happened. lol)
You can take the girl out of dance, but I really don’t think you can take dance out of the girl in this case.
Cade and Liberty both had their piano finales:

Levi’s Honor Choir Finale:
Skip to minute 3:60 for a REALLY cool song worth the listen.
Levi is third from left front row.
My dad had his 70th birthday this year! He is now officially old Vintage.
Here is the card Liberty wrote him:
Dad reading the card:
Dad’s birthday is often on Memorial Day weekend, as it was this year.
And last but not least we had the big school finale on June 1st!
Yay for Summer!
Levi had friends over the last day of school and they burned all their school papers in our fire pit to roast marshmallows on. How’s that for ringing in Summer?
Stay tuned for our summer adventures so far!
Really-they will come this time, barring any unforeseen health issues!

Cool post! Thanks for all the pics and videos of your ridiculously talented children! Way to go Cade and Liberty on the piano recital. Cade, that song has so much syncopation, which a lot of students find difficult. But you nailed it! I'm a proud piano aunt. Both great performances. Levi in the choir too–those were great songs and a great-sounding choir!
