This was another Sick Christmas. All of us were sick at least twice this December with everything from stomach flu, regular flu, diarrhea, pink eye and a cough/cold that will NOT STOP. Sickness notwithstanding, we managed to get through four choir concerts and an orchestra concert before school got out.

Christmas Eve
The Angel of the Lord had pink eye this year. We took her to the one hour church meeting that day figuring her goopy eyes could hold off for that long. Nope. We blew through all our tissues before the opening prayer! So Rock ended up taking her home.
She was a great angel of the Lord in our Nativity, though.
New Clothes this year instead of pj’s for Christmas Eve

Christmas Day
Cade and Levi were up before the crack of dawn (3:00 AM!) Christmas morning despite all my threats to end their lives and burn all their presents if they got up before 6:00. They take after their father in this regard, unfortunately.

Rock gave me the gift of warmth this year. A heated car seat pad and a heated blanket for my favorite chair. Let me tell you, heated car seats = Nirvana!
And that was Christmas!
With Christmas at the very beginning of break we had two lazy weeks to play with our new toys and relax…and cough, or rub our pink eye. School started four days ago and Levi still hasn’t gone back to school! I hope life goes back to normal soon.
